Culinarian I/Cook

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items for designated stations in corporate dining facilities
• Interact and engage with guests while preparing food to order
• Follow established schedules and specifications for cooking, baking, and sanitation
• Maintain food safety practices by covering, dating, and labeling all food according to health codes
• Complete daily service audits to support food safety and sanitation standards
• Clean and sanitize food preparation equipment to ensure safe and operable conditions
• Assist with catering needs and various Café projects

Requirements

• Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift
• Ability to lift a minimum of 30lbs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
• Must obtain Servsafe Certification within 6 months of hire
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of culinary experience
