About the Company

Malcolm is building the infrastructure layer for AI-powered insurance distribution. We provide the system that sits between AI agents and insurer APIs, making conversational flows reliable, compliant, and production-ready. We are already live at scale in enterprise with Aviva for Home and Life insurance.

Responsibilities

• Define the architecture of the multi-class, multi-insurer platform
• Lead the build of the agent-first orchestration engine
• Grow and lead the engineering team, hiring as the roadmap demands
• Work directly with insurer partners on technical integrations
• Act as a co-founder partner to the CEO on product strategy, commercial decisions, and fundraising

Requirements

• Proven track record of building and shipping production systems
• Strong architectural expertise and ability to defend technical decisions
• Ability to write high-quality code and lead engineering teams
• Interest in making LLM-led conversational flows deterministic for regulated financial services
• Based in London or willing to relocate to London
• Comfortable with early-stage ambiguity and regulated industry constraints

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP)
• Experience in fintech or insurance technology
