CT/MRI Radiographer

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining processes and obtaining informed consent
• Operate and maintain radiographic equipment safely
• Assist in initial image interpretation and report significant findings to clinicians
• Adhere to quality assurance protocols and health and safety regulations
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Provide guidance and support to junior radiographers and students

Requirements

• Relevant degree in Radiography or related field
• HCPC registration
• 1-2 years post-qualification clinical experience in the UK
• Proficiency in CT and MRI within NHS or private UK settings
• Experience with Siemens scanners
• Strong understanding of radiographic techniques and safety protocols
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills
