About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT procedures in accordance with applicable legislation, clinical standards and departmental procedures
  • Provide exceptional care to patients, families and caregivers
  • Communicate effectively with inter-professional and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Work accurately, safely, and efficiently in a fast paced, high patient volume setting
  • Participate in professional development, teaching, and mentoring activities
  • Coordinate daily work schedule and prioritize emergency/add-on cases

Requirements

  • CMRITO registration
  • Completion of BCLS program, Level II: Basic Rescuer certification
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • CAMRT certification with current membership
  • Previous advanced CT experience
  • Completion of or current enrollment in CTIC offered by CAMRT
  • Completion of certified injection course
  • Related technologist experience in a hospital environment
