About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform CT procedures in accordance with applicable legislation, clinical standards and departmental procedures
- Provide exceptional care to patients, families and caregivers
- Communicate effectively with inter-professional and multi-disciplinary teams
- Work accurately, safely, and efficiently in a fast paced, high patient volume setting
- Participate in professional development, teaching, and mentoring activities
- Coordinate daily work schedule and prioritize emergency/add-on cases
Requirements
- CMRITO registration
- Completion of BCLS program, Level II: Basic Rescuer certification
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- CAMRT certification with current membership
- Previous advanced CT experience
- Completion of or current enrollment in CTIC offered by CAMRT
- Completion of certified injection course
- Related technologist experience in a hospital environment
