CT Technologist

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic-quality CT images using approved protocols and professional standards
• Maintain accountability for patient safety, including screening, preparation, and post-procedure care
• Administer oral and IV contrast media in accordance with department policies and physician orders
• Establish IV access for contrast administration and related lab draws
• Operate imaging equipment, perform quality assurance, and maintain imaging room readiness
• Coordinate exam flow and prioritize time-sensitive studies to ensure a positive patient experience
• Maintain accurate documentation in medical records and image archive systems (PACS)
• Adhere to all radiation safety, infection prevention, and organizational compliance standards

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program
• ARRT Computed Tomography (CT) certification
• Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) Accreditation
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a clinical CT setting
