About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT scans, diagnostic X-rays, and Dexa exams according to standardized protocols
- Prepare and position patients accurately for specific examinations and explain procedures to address concerns
- Operate and maintain CT, X-ray, and Dexa equipment while ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Administer contrast media and monitor patients for any adverse reactions
- Review images for quality and completeness before submitting them to radiologists
- Document all procedures and patient interactions accurately in medical records
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment adhering to infection control practices
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
- Active ARRT Registry in CT
- NY State DOH Radiologic licensure
- 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or outpatient setting
- Proven experience with CT Coronary Angiography
- Ability to provide consistent Wednesday coverage and weekend availability
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Dexa and Diagnostic radiology
- Experience operating Siemens equipment
