About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality diagnostic radiographic services within a multi-disciplinary team
- Perform accurate, safe, and efficient CT examinations
- Mentor junior radiographers and promote service standards
- Deputize for the Superintendent and organize daily workflow
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and provide clear instructions during procedures
- Maintain and check CT equipment for correct functionality
- Accurately document patient information and procedure details in compliance with regulations
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure
- Work closely with radiologists to interpret images and contribute to care plans
- Manage inventory of CT supplies and respond to medical emergencies
Requirements
- DCR or BSc in Radiography
- HCPC registration
- Post-qualification experience
- At least 1 year of experience within the NHS or private sector
- IV and Cannulation training (essential)
- Experience with GE Scanners
- Excellent organizational and IT communication skills
- Flexible attitude to working hours
