CT Radiographer

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality diagnostic radiographic services within a multi-disciplinary team
• Perform accurate, safe, and efficient CT examinations
• Mentor junior radiographers and promote service standards
• Deputize for the Superintendent and organize daily workflow
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and provide clear instructions during procedures
• Maintain and check CT equipment for correct functionality
• Accurately document patient information and procedure details in compliance with regulations
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure
• Work closely with radiologists to interpret images and contribute to care plans
• Manage inventory of CT supplies and respond to medical emergencies

Requirements

• DCR or BSc in Radiography
• HCPC registration
• Post-qualification experience
• At least 1 year of experience within the NHS or private sector
• IV and Cannulation training (essential)
• Experience with GE Scanners
• Excellent organizational and IT communication skills
• Flexible attitude to working hours
