CT Radiographer

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of CT examinations with a focus on image quality and patient safety
• Manage patient preparation and operation of CT scanners
• Ensure accurate documentation of all procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to support diagnosis
• Contribute to quality assurance and equipment maintenance
• Assist in mentoring junior staff

Requirements

• BSc in Radiography or equivalent recognised qualification
• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
• Substantial experience in CT imaging at Band 6 level or above
• Proficiency in operating modern CT systems (e.g. Siemens, GE, or Philips)
• Strong understanding of radiation safety and imaging protocols
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload
