CT Radiographer

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of CT examinations with precision and care
• Operate CT scanners and manage patient preparation and positioning
• Perform cannulation for contrast studies
• Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to departmental protocols and radiation safety standards
• Maintain flexibility to work long days, nights, and weekends

Requirements

• HCPC registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer
• Proven experience in CT imaging and Interventional imaging
• Experience at Band 7 level, preferably in a Neuro department
• Competence in intravenous cannulation
• Strong understanding of radiation protection and safety protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team
• Flexible approach to shift patterns, including nights and weekends
