About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality diagnostic radiographic services within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Perform accurate, safe, and efficient CT examinations
  • Mentor junior radiographers and promote service standards within CT
  • Deputize for the Superintendent and organize daily workflow
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety before, during, and after procedures
  • Maintain and check CT equipment for correct functionality
  • Accurately document patient information and procedure details in compliance with legal requirements
  • Adhere to radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure
  • Work closely with radiologists to interpret images and contribute to patient care plans
  • Manage inventory of CT supplies and respond to medical emergencies

Requirements

  • DCR or BSc in Radiography
  • HCPC registration
  • Post-qualification experience
  • At least 1 year of experience within the NHS or private sector
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
  • Flexible attitude toward working hours
  • Proficiency in IT systems
