CT Chief Technologist

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily activities of the Cat Scan Imaging Program
• Perform CT diagnostic or therapeutic procedures within the scope of practice and departmental standards
• Model leadership skills and act as an owner for the organization, department, and modality
• Maintain efficient daily operations of the department through strong organizational skills
• Assess pertinent information, prepare, and educate patients regarding procedures and expectations
• Complete accurate documentation of patient care and procedures
• Utilize hospital information technology systems and equipment operations effectively
• Communicate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care
• Adhere to department policies, procedures, and modality-specific safety protocols
• Actively engage in departmental, team, and committee initiatives

Requirements

• Graduate of a JRCERT accredited education program
• Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Advanced CT Certification
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification
• Licensure and certification by the NH Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
• Minimum of two years of experience as a CT Technologist

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience
