About the role

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound calls to members with a cancer diagnosis to provide education on the value of the Cancer Support Program (CSP)
  • Answer return calls from members to determine eligibility and enroll them in the program
  • Complete thorough documentation of call interactions using real-time talking and typing
  • Collect data from members and input information into assessments to determine program eligibility
  • Coordinate information with clinical team partners
  • Serve as a resource or Subject Matter Expert for team members or internal customers

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • 1+ years of experience in telephonic customer service
  • Ability to work full-time, Monday - Friday, with flexibility to work 8-hour shifts between 7:00 am - 7:00 pm CST

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in a high-volume call center environment
  • Experience working within a medical or behavioral health setting
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
  • Experience working with populations experiencing a cancer diagnosis
  • Ability to work within multiple complex systems simultaneously
