CSC Technician

Responsibilities

• Execute repair and remanufacturing processes for spindles using precision machine tools
• Comply with SKF quality standards, established timelines, and safety guidelines
• Perform assembly and disassembly of mechanical and electro-spindles
• Operate machine tools and grinders, including Kellenberger, taper, and surface grinders
• Use precision measurement instruments to ensure technical accuracy
• Record activities and prepare detailed technical reports
• Promote and adhere to EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) standards, maintaining a clean and organized workspace

Requirements

• Technical degree in Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in a similar technical role
• Proficiency in bearing technology and mounting (including super-precision)
• Experience with spindle assembly and disassembly
• Skilled in the operation of machine tools and grinders
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to work Monday to Friday (7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) with availability for Saturdays and overtime
