Cryptologic Computer Scientist

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and operate solutions to hard cryptologic computer science problems within a scientific framework
• Address forensics and attack attribution
• Protect critical networks and manage active systems warnings and indicators
• Perform active penetration into target systems
• Apply computer science skills including operating systems, compiler theory, and algorithm analysis to mission support

Requirements

• TS/SCI with a Polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with heavy CS coursework
• Experience in computer systems research, software design, or reverse engineering
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience for Level 2 (or equivalent based on degree level)

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degrees (Master's or Doctoral) in Computer Science
• Expertise in compiler theory, database theory, or computer architecture
