Cryptologic Computer Scientist

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deliver, and operate solutions to hard cryptologic computer science problems within a scientific framework
• Create solutions derived from forensics and attack attribution
• Facilitate protection of critical networks and active systems
• Conduct knowledge discovery of passive and active systems
• Apply computer science skills including operating systems, compiler theory, and algorithm analysis to provide state-of-the-art techniques
• Act as a hybrid computer scientist and cyber threat analyst using Python and Spark/PySpark

Requirements

• Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience, Bachelor’s with 8 years, or Associate’s with 10 years
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• Completion of at least one programming course and 4 upper-level math classes (Calculus and above)
• Experience in computer science areas such as simulation/model development, algorithm analysis, or reverse engineering
• Strong Python and Spark/PySpark skills
• Strong Network and Protocol Analysis background
• TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
