Crypto Wallet Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and improve custody and wallet operations (hot/warm/cold), including transaction authorization and withdrawal controls.
• Establish runbooks for deposits, withdrawals, internal transfers, rebalancing, and emergency procedures.
• Perform end-of-day trade, cash, and coin reconciliations and resolve breaks across custody ledgers.
• Coordinate wallet liquidity and treasury positioning to ensure assets are available for settlement cut-offs.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, Product, Compliance, and Finance to ensure robust and secure wallet operations.
• Maintain regulatory standards and mitigate risks through velocity caps, maker-checker approvals, and robust control processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2-3+ years of experience in operations, custody/wallet operations, or financial infrastructure, ideally within the crypto industry.
• Hands-on familiarity with cryptocurrency markets and on-chain transactions (confirmations, fee dynamics, etc.).
• Strong SQL skills for data validation and joins.
• Experience working with REST/WebSocket APIs and schedulers.
• Ability to translate complex technical processes for non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience scaling wallet operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of cryptographic and custody concepts such as MPC thresholds or quorum.
• Proficiency with observability and visualization tools like Looker or Grafana.
• Basic familiarity with Git workflows.
