Crypto Production Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build, manage, and maintain sophisticated validator infrastructure and on-chain tooling.
• Take responsibility for a wide range of on-chain infrastructure, including validators, light clients, and RPC nodes.
• Improve monitoring and alerting systems for crypto infrastructure to enable quick problem resolution.
• Reason about and improve security properties, including secure key management, server hardening, and intrusion detection.
• Experiment with new technologies and keep abreast of developments in the blockchain ecosystem.
• Work with a globally distributed team to maintain high availability for trading infrastructure.

Requirements

• Experience managing proof-of-stake blockchain infrastructure (preferably Solana or Ethereum).
• Deep understanding of Linux, Kubernetes, and networking.
• Proficiency with monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus and Alertmanager.
• Experience with orchestration and configuration management tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Salt.
• High proficiency with Bash scripting.
• Proficiency in at least one other programming language, such as Python, Golang, or Rust.
• Extensive experience designing, building, and maintaining complex systems across cloud and bare-metal environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with on-chain trading, DeFi, and risk management.
