Crypto Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead innovative crypto security capability initiatives and solve complex technical challenges to ensure platform resilience.
• Develop crypto security solution patterns aligned with bank standards, policies, and risk appetite.
• Collaborate with Product and TechOps Engineers to integrate engineering patterns and designs.
• Provide technical mentorship to engineers and communicate best practices across engineering teams.
• Respond to audit, compliance, and IT risk teams to remediate identified risk-related issues.
• Contribute to continuous iterative improvements in team processes and procedures.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on technical experience in implementing and deploying large-scale applications or platforms in an enterprise/financial setting.
• Proven experience in crypto engineering, key management practices, and information security domains.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with security patterns, architecture frameworks, and SDLC tools (JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence).
• Knowledge of cloud security (GCP, Azure) and container technologies (Kubernetes).
• Excellent English communication skills; proficiency in Spanish is a strong asset.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant security accreditations.
• Working knowledge of business analysis technology such as PowerBI or Excel.
