Cryogenics Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end simulation and analysis for cryogenic thermal and fluid systems
• Lead analytical approaches for new challenges using first-principles research
• Drive model validation by comparing simulation outputs to experimental test data
• Develop integrated thermal and fluid analysis packages for commercial-scale systems
• Partner with hardware engineers and scientists to define system requirements and technical roadmaps

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience or equivalent PhD research in cryogenic thermal and fluid analysis
• MSc or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline
• Strong foundation in heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics
• Proficiency in thermal analysis software such as Thermal Desktop or COMSOL
• Familiarity with hydrogen systems, vacuum systems, and cryogenic technologies
• Experience with instrumentation, sensors, and control logic for cryogenic environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically with hydrogen systems
• Hands-on experience with test rig construction and system debugging
• Experience with low-temperature measurements to support model validation
