About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the startup and ongoing operation of a new fixed plant crusher at the Weld Range iron ore operation
- Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to supervisors, trades personnel, and operators
- Manage production schedules, workforce allocation, and operational priorities to ensure efficient delivery
- Drive safety, production performance, reliability, and a collaborative team culture
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including equipment performance and process optimization
- Build and sustain effective relationships with site stakeholders, contractors, and support functions
Requirements
- Extensive leadership experience within crushing or processing operations
- Proficiency in managing crushing operations, processes, and maintenance practices
- Strong understanding of safe work practices within crushing environments
- Current Section 26 (S26) Statutory Supervisor’s Certificate
- Current WA 'C' Class Driver’s Licence
- Valid National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain one)
