About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the Gulf of Mexico trading team, including physical and financial activities
- Analyze and report commodity earnings, exposures, and mark-to-market positions
- Contribute to the global trading team by analyzing pricing and hedging activities
- Problem solve front, mid, and back-office issues with support teams
- Communicate trading activities and performance results to cross-functional management and traders
- Streamline and simplify business processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of experience in the energy, manufacturing, transportation, or finance industry
- Highly proficient in MS Excel
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage time, multitask, and prioritize in a demanding environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Maths, Science, or Engineering
- Experience in a Trading and/or Sales organization
- Knowledge of crude, refined product, or gas commodities
- Experience with SAP, RightAngle, or Endur
- Proficiency in Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) and/or SQL or Python
