About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and communicate with traders, optimizers, refineries, and terminals to plan fuels movement schedules via pipeline, marine, rail, and truck.
- Develop and execute movement schedules based on forecasts, refinery demand, and contractual obligations.
- Nominate transportation requirements to carriers and engage daily with third parties to execute molecule movements.
- Manage inventory levels to meet targets while ensuring reliability to refineries and adherence to contracts.
- Collaborate with Trading, Sales, and Optimization teams to identify and capture market opportunities.
- Develop supply chain improvement initiatives to drive value chain capture and optimize logistics.
- Ensure compliance with credit guidelines, regulatory requirements, and transportation policies.
- Act as a liaison between accounting and the business line to ensure accurate third-party payments and collections.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a relevant technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in scheduling bulk liquids movements.
- Experience in refining, pipeline, or chemicals industries.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in SAP.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to adapt to a fast-paced 24/7 operational environment.
- Strong team player with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial intensity and a continuous improvement mindset.
