Crossroads Cafe Helper

Responsibilities

• Make coffees, smoothies, and shakes from the Crossroads menu
• Operate the register, taking orders and processing credit card or declining balance payments
• Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment
• Interact with customers in a friendly and engaging manner
• Perform cleaning tasks including washing dishes, cleaning fridges, and wiping counters
• Restock menu items, paper products, cups, and plasticware
• Handle opening duties such as preparing the space and turning on equipment
• Handle closing duties such as cleaning tables, storing equipment, and removing trash

Requirements

• Ability to work effectively in a group
• Energetic and social personality
• Willingness to interact with customers
• Completion of PCI DSS training and signing of security agreements
• Must be an active student at Middlebury College
