Cross Functional Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 10–15 associates across multiple business areas to deliver a world-class customer experience.
• Develop and execute strategies to achieve store budgets and performance metrics aligned with corporate goals.
• Plan and manage daily operations, including staffing levels and ensuring associates have necessary tools and training.
• Analyze and present business results to the Location General Manager and other stakeholders.
• Oversee training across sales, service, merchandising, and operations to maximize execution and minimize risk.
• Ensure compliance with asset protection, risk management, and operational standards.
• Manage the Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) program for the department or location.

• Exceptional communication skills for engaging both associates and customers.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work rotating schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license meeting CarMax safety standards.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings, training, and special assignments.
