Cross Commodity Sales

Responsibilities

• Manage market risk for the Metals product set within group risk appetite and defined limits to generate positive returns.
• Contribute to Metals product trading capability to support liquidity for clients.
• Collaborate with sales and brokerage functions to originate hedging solutions and structured transactions.
• Work with data, research, and analytics colleagues to identify opportunities for hedging strategies and market making efficiencies.
• Strategize to increase P&L and achieve team targets through ongoing analysis of markets and products.
• Ensure strict compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under the SFC and adhere to the operational risk framework.
• Liaise with clients as required and escalate risk events immediately.
• Adhere to all internal policies and report any breaches to Compliance or supervisors.

Requirements

• Fluent in business Japanese.
• Strong knowledge of the Metals product set.
• Understanding of SFC regulatory requirements and the SFC Code of Conduct.
• Ability to work autonomously while also functioning effectively as part of a team.
• A proactive, strategic, and diligent approach to risk management and sales support.
