Crop Production Advisor

Responsibilities

• Provide advisory services to strengthen and improve crop production for clients
• Support farmers throughout the crop year, including planning and input procurement
• Assist with EU subsidy applications during the spring
• Monitor establishment, emergence, fertilization, and plant protection needs during the field season
• Conduct post-season economic calculations for crops
• Handle permit applications regarding environmental regulations, such as biotope protection and water protection areas

Requirements

• Relevant university degree in agronomy or equivalent
• Valid B-driver's license
• Strong communicative and pedagogical skills
• Ability to work independently with client responsibility
• Proficiency in spoken and written Swedish
• Analytical and solution-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Several years of experience in agricultural advisory or farming
• Experience with SAM applications, investment support, and water protection area permits
• Experience working towards revenue targets
• Knowledge of agricultural economics and holistic farm management
