Croatian Transcriber

Responsibilities

• Listen to audio recordings and accurately transcribe spoken content into text format
• Follow project-specific guidelines regarding formatting, punctuation, and grammar
• Adhere to client-specific Written Domain Conventions and "clean room" policies
• Review and proofread transcripts for accuracy and completeness
• Manage time effectively to meet established deadlines and maintain high productivity
• Handle confidential information with strict discretion and professionalism

Requirements

• Ability to read and type in Croatian (hr_hr) with an understanding of various accents and dialects
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Reliable transportation to commute to the on-site office in Orlando, FL

Preferred Qualifications

• Typing speed of 40 WPM in Croatian or higher
• Additional training in linguistics, transcription, or a related field
• Proficiency with Mac/PC platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Workspace
• Strong research abilities for verifying names, locations, and products
