About the role

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a variety of non-invasive and invasive tests including ECGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests
  • Assist with procedures such as pacemaker and ICD implants, electrophysiology studies, and catheter ablations
  • Collaborate with cardiologists to provide insights through accurate data collection and interpretation
  • Troubleshoot specialized cardiac equipment
  • Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout diagnostic and procedural processes

Requirements

  • HCPC registration
  • Degree or equivalent in Clinical Physiology, Cardiac Physiology, or a related field
  • Experience performing non-invasive and invasive cardiac tests
  • Demonstrable experience in pacing and catheter lab procedures
  • BHRS certification
  • In-depth knowledge of cardiac physiology and diagnostic equipment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous NHS experience
