About the role
Responsibilities
- Write clear, concise, and jargon-free copy for CRM campaigns across email, push notifications, and in-product messages
- Compose messages that guide customers through their journey with ease and confidence
- Produce time-sensitive service communications and transactional updates
- Craft marketing campaign copy to educate customers on product features and drive engagement
- Brainstorm creative ideas and angles for various customer touch-points
- Support the CRM mission to deliver relevant, personalized, and timely communications
Requirements
- Proven experience writing copy for CRM channels within a medium-to-large-sized business
- Experience working in a regulated industry is preferred
- A pragmatic approach to writing with a solid understanding of UX and design principles
- Ability to simplify complex product terminology into friendly, clear, and actionable copy
- A portfolio or collection of writing samples demonstrating versatility (from lifecycle journeys to short CTAs)
- Experience collaborating with designers, product marketers, and product managers
- Ability to deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines under pressure
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate the "why" behind creative decisions
