About the role

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, operate, and control critical infrastructure systems, including electrical, mechanical, cooling, and control systems.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with approved EOPs, MOPs, and SOPs.
  • Respond to incidents, support troubleshooting and recovery activities, and lead response efforts when appropriate.
  • Identify and escalate safety, compliance, and operational risks in line with Microsoft standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure safe and high-quality execution.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing knowledge and developing technical capability.

Requirements

  • Upper secondary education (vocational or general upper secondary school) or equivalent practical work experience.
  • Prior technical work experience in environments such as industrial maintenance, electrical/HVAC installations, energy, process/production facilities, datacenters, or hospitals.
  • Valid driver’s license (required for travel between sites).
  • Ability to work rotating shift patterns in a 24/7 operational environment.
  • Fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical certification in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or a related field.
  • Experience working with CMMS systems.
  • Experience in high-availability, mission-critical, or safety-critical environments.
  • Exposure to industrial, electrical, mechanical, cooling, or control systems.
