About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an operations specialist in a major area of critical environment operations, such as electrical, mechanical, controls, or generators.
  • Inspect and supervise facility equipment, including HVAC, mechanical systems, and building grounds, to identify and escalate unsafe or abnormal conditions.
  • Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track equipment assets and manage work order requests.
  • Lead onsite incident response teams to address abnormal conditions impacting operations and coordinate corrective repairs.
  • Develop and follow emergency operating procedures (EOPs), methods of procedure (MOPs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Perform planned, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical infrastructure components.
  • Troubleshoot equipment, systems, and subsystems independently within a trained discipline.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety and security requirements, including job hazard assessments (JHAs) and environmental health and safety (EH&S) standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Experience in mission-critical services (e.g., data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, or manufacturing environments).
  • Ability to work shift assignments, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree or technical trade certification (e.g., military or trade school).
  • Advanced technical training in electrical, mechanical, or cooling systems.
