Critical Environment Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintain critical datacenter infrastructure through monitoring, inspections, and maintenance
• Perform troubleshooting of equipment and systems within trained disciplines
• Execute various types of maintenance (planned, predictive, and corrective) and repairs
• Develop and follow Methods of Procedure (MOPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Ensure strict adherence to all safety and security requirements, including job hazard assessments
• Escort third-party contractors and vendors on-site to ensure work is performed safely and to scope
• Respond to and stabilize abnormal facility conditions using emergency operating procedures
• Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track assets and work orders

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud background checks and other required security screenings
• Ability to meet citizenship verification requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or technical trade certification
• 2+ years of experience in mission-critical services (e.g., data centers, refineries, hospitals, or manufacturing)
• Or 3+ years of mission-critical services experience with a High School Diploma/GED
