Critical Environment Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintain critical datacenter infrastructure through monitoring, inspection, and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and cooling systems
• Perform troubleshooting of equipment and subsystems to identify and resolve issues
• Develop and follow Methods of Procedure (MOPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure safe and reliable operations
• Enforce strict safety and security requirements, including job hazard assessments and environmental health and safety (EHS) objectives
• Coordinate with third-party contractors and vendors, providing necessary escorts and ensuring work is performed to scope and safety standards
• Respond to and lead onsite incident response teams during abnormal conditions to mitigate operational impact

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience in mission-critical services (e.g., data centers, refineries, hospitals, or manufacturing)
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders and stairs

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or technical trade certification
• 4+ years of experience in mission-critical infrastructure environments
