About the role

Responsibilities

  • Maintain critical datacenter infrastructure, including electrical, mechanical, and cooling systems
  • Perform planned, predictive, and corrective maintenance and repairs following standard operating procedures
  • Monitor equipment performance using telemetry, control systems, and other monitoring platforms
  • Respond to onsite incidents and lead incident response teams to mitigate abnormal conditions
  • Coordinate with third-party contractors and vendors to ensure work is performed safely and to scope
  • Document all maintenance activities, troubleshooting findings, and equipment issues in the CMMS
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety and security requirements, including job hazard assessments

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in mission-critical services (e.g., data centers, refineries, hospitals, or manufacturing)
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders and stairs
  • Ability to meet Microsoft and government security screening requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree or technical trade certification
  • 2+ years of experience in mission-critical environments
  • Hands-on experience with HVAC, electrical, or mechanical systems in a large-scale facility
