Critical Environment Industrial Controls Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Maintain ICS availability, data quality, service and change management, reporting, and security for all systems within the Data Centers.
• Manage, service, and govern electrical and mechanical industrial control systems (ICS), including servers, applications, networks, and device infrastructure.
• Execute site-level ICS programs and projects, participating in global initiatives related to ICS systems.
• Govern logical and physical access, approvals, and permissions for all ICS systems, networks, workstations, and servers.
• Comply with safety programs and policies to empower a culture of safety and security in global datacenter operations.
• Develop positive working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 2+ years of technical experience in software engineering, network engineering, service engineering, systems engineering, or industrial controls (or equivalent experience).
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in an operational, mission-critical, 24x7x365 facility.
• 1.5+ years of experience in the design or commissioning of Industrial Controls Systems (ICS) using Modbus and BACnet protocols.
• 2+ years of experience with the operation and maintenance of building electrical systems (power distribution, grounding, fire alarm) and mechanical systems (HVAC, Chilled Water, DX Refrigerant).
• Project management experience with a focus on agile methodologies.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and technical documents.
• Established understanding of Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS), Building Automation Systems (BAS), or Battery Monitoring Systems (BMS).
