Critical Care Response Team - Co-Lead

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily activities and functioning of the MSNICU Critical Care Response Team (CCRT)
• Provide direction, ongoing development, and mentorship to team members
• Ensure 24/7 CCRT scheduling coverage and resource availability for training
• Develop and deliver educational in-services for CCRT providers and ward staff
• Lead or participate in quality improvement initiatives related to CCRT services
• Liaise with ward leadership and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of patient care
• Perform administrative duties including data collection, reporting, and human resources tasks
• Act as a Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) for 40% of the role to support unit operations

Requirements

• Baccalaureate in Nursing (Masters preferred)
• Three years of nursing experience in a tertiary care ICU
• Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to build collaborative teams
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, SharePoint, and EPIC
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Current MSNICU experience
• Previous CCRT experience
• CCRN certification
