Critical Care Nurse Practitioner (Nocturnist)

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care for patients within a high-capacity ICU setting as part of a collaborative critical care team.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including Intensivists and other APPs, to ensure smooth transitions of care.
• Participate actively in hospital committees and contribute to the larger hospital team.
• Manage patient care during 12-hour night shifts, averaging 12-14 shifts per month.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience as an independent provider in the ICU (procedure logs required).
• Board Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP).
• Active New Jersey State License.
• Active DEA registration.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
