Critical Care Consultant

Responsibilities

• Provide expert medical care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit, including diagnosis, treatment, and management
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Conduct regular ward rounds and provide supervision and guidance to junior medical staff
• Participate in on-call duties and be available for emergency procedures and consultations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
• Stay current with the latest developments in critical care medicine through continuous education
• Act as a mentor and role model for junior doctors and nursing staff

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Board Certification in Critical Care or equivalent qualification
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant in an Intensive Care Unit setting
• Western education or training
• Fluency in English
• Ability to work well under pressure and make quick, informed decisions
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
