About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide immediate "hands-on" crisis support through phone counseling and mobile in-person crisis intervention.
  • Perform rapid assessments, support hospitalization when necessary, and link individuals to community resources.
  • Develop crisis prevention plans and write timely action plans with measurable outcomes.
  • Conduct assertive outreach to individuals identified as high users of crisis services.
  • Complete all required progress notes and documentation in a timely manner.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to provide backup support to overnight staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • Valid US driver's license held for at least two years (excluding permit time).
  • Access to a reliable vehicle with valid registration and insurance during work hours.
  • No serious traffic convictions within the past three years (e.g., DUI, reckless driving).
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, including 10-hour shifts that may occur on weekdays or weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior work or internship experience related to mental health services.
