Crimp Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment setup, operation, and minor daily preventative maintenance to meet safety and quality standards.
• Maintain machine raw material feeds and clear stoppages on automated equipment.
• Utilize human machine interfaces (HMIs) and computer systems to monitor process control and support inventory management.
• Troubleshoot mechanical errors or safety issues using provided troubleshooting tables.
• Use measuring tools to ensure components meet correct tolerances.
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and standard operating procedures for material handling and record keeping.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and maintain a clean manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• High School diploma preferred (Associate degree is a plus).
• Proficiency with basic hand tools.
• Basic computational skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience with automated machines or tools.
• Proficiency in English for reading documentation and written communication.
• Ability to stand for at least 75% of a shift and lift up to 20lbs occasionally.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with manufacturing instrumentation such as micrometers, calipers, feeler gauges, and dial indicators.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel.
• A keen eye for quality and a self-starter attitude in fast-paced environments.
