Responsibilities

  • Participate in the continuous development and implementation of the department’s curriculum.
  • Foster student success through in-class and out-of-class initiatives and mentorship.
  • Maintain professional competence and currency in the criminal justice discipline.
  • Contribute to curriculum design, assessment, and evaluation, including the development of online courses.
  • Serve on department and college committees and act as an ambassador for the program.
  • Engage in workplace and community service to advance the college's mission.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in criminal justice or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of professional experience.
  • Proficiency in teaching diverse learning styles and working with a diverse student population.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Advanced computer proficiency and time-management skills.
  • Must reside in or be able to perform work within Ohio, Indiana, or Kentucky.

  • Successful teaching experience at the college level.
  • Successful professional experience within the criminal justice field.
