Crew Chief I - Surveying

Responsibilities

• Operate a field survey crew
• Prepare proper field notes and manage field data files for office support staff
• Turn in notes and field files on a daily basis
• Organize and maintain all equipment and vehicles
• Maintain good client relations to foster long-term relationships
• Manage and mentor field personnel to ensure project objectives are met under budget and on time
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in survey field work
• Knowledge of TDS Software, Trimble Robotics, and GPS equipment
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass motor vehicle records check, drug test, and functional assessment
• Punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Crew Chief in Construction Staking and/or Surveying
• CAD experience
