Crew Chief, Carrier Aircraft

Responsibilities

• Lead the Aircraft Maintenance Team in executing maintenance, inspections, and alterations for the Boeing 777 carrier aircraft
• Ensure aircraft airworthiness in accordance with Boeing AMM, SRM, and technical data
• Lead aircraft ground crew operations and manage overall safety during ground operations
• Provide daily tasking updates and assist in schedule impact mitigations
• Conduct on-the-job training (OJT) on aircraft systems including flight controls, landing gear, and propulsion
• Complete and sign off required aircraft maintenance paperwork and forms
• Monitor team work quality to ensure compliance with airworthiness standards

Requirements

• 10+ years of transport category aircraft maintenance experience (Boeing 777 or widebody preferred)
• Current A&P license
• Demonstrated experience with Boeing widebody systems (fuel, pneumatics, hydraulics, engines, etc.)
• Experience with large turbofan engines and borescope qualification (Rolls Royce, Pratt & Whitney, or GE)
• Knowledge of FAA regulations and airworthiness requirements
• Proficiency with Jira
• Valid U.S. passport and ability to obtain a security clearance
• Ability to travel OCONUS for up to 6 weeks at a time

Preferred Qualifications

• FAA IA or EASA certification
• Boeing Gen Fam with RII authorization
• Unrestricted engine run qualifications on large jet aircraft
• Formal training on advanced Boeing avionics/systems
