Crew Care Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line welfare and wellbeing support to employees regarding personal, emotional, and workplace-related matters
• Conduct initial assessments and triage of cases to ensure appropriate allocation and follow-up
• Respond to employee wellbeing concerns, personal crises, operational incidents, and bereavement cases
• Support employees during sickness, hospitalization, emergency situations, or periods of personal hardship
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to facilitate referrals to medical or counseling services
• Participate in emergency response activities, including duty phone coverage and repatriation support
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential case records within designated systems
• Escalate high-risk or safety-related cases to the Duty Care Manager or leadership teams
• Contribute to employee wellbeing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health, Nursing, or a related field
• Proven experience in welfare, wellbeing, or employee support roles
• Experience working in aviation or other safety-critical environments
• Proficiency in using case management or welfare tracking systems
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and confidentiality skills
