Crew Accommodations Agent

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate hotel accommodations and ground transportation bookings for airline crew members and non-crew employees.
• Handle emergency relocations of crew members, working closely with supervisors to ensure timely resolutions and avoid operational delays.
• Act as the primary liaison between client Crew Scheduling, internal departments, and management to resolve issues.
• Use proprietary systems to process, track, and report transactions, ensuring accurate registration of reservation details.
• Identify suitable and compliant hotel options in various markets, including managing approvals for non-compliant options during sold-out situations.
• Manage payments to hotel and transportation vendors in accordance with contractual terms.
• Assist various departments, including IT, Billing, and Account Management, with data gathering and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Fluent in English; additional languages (Italian, German, French, Spanish, or Portuguese) are a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work shifts and irregular hours, including long hours during irregular operations.
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the hotel or travel industry.
• Experience with hotel sourcing and rate negotiation.
• Some college education.
