Creeler

Responsibilities

• Load bobbins of fiber onto creels, ensuring proper alignment to supply tufting machines
• Monitor fiber supply during production and replace empty bobbins promptly to minimize downtime
• Inspect fiber for quality and identify/remove defective material before it enters production
• Assist tufting operators with yarn-related issues during the production process
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure correct fiber types, colors, and amounts are used
• Maintain a clean, organized creeling area while following all safety procedures and company policies

Requirements

• Ability to lift and handle 10 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail regarding yarn quality and machine setup
• Effective teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with operators and supervisors
• Availability to work the night shift (Monday-Thursday, 7PM-7AM)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience working with creels or tufting machines
