Credit Underwriter

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze loan applications, credit reports, and financial statements
• Collect and interpret credit data to assess customer creditworthiness
• Develop and maintain credit scoring models to evaluate risks
• Qualify leads by assessing financial needs and eligibility criteria
• Prepare detailed reports on credit analysis findings and risk assessments
• Collaborate with third-party lenders, banks, and internal teams for comprehensive evaluations
• Coordinate with lenders and LSPs for loan application approvals or denials
• Ensure all loan processing complies with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Educate clients on loan options, terms, and application processes

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience assessing credit risk for Lending and supply-chain finance products
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field
• Familiarity with credit risk assessment methodologies and financial statement analysis
• Knowledge of loan processing procedures and regulatory requirements
• Proficiency in using CRM systems for recording lead assessments
