Credit Support Analyst

Responsibilities

• Configure reporting requirements and financial covenants in bank systems for new credit agreements.
• Translate legal and structural terms into operational monitoring requirements for compliance.
• Conduct periodic reviews and continuous monitoring of borrower covenants and collateral.
• Interpret complex attorney-prepared agreements to determine required party set-ups.
• Review documentation and monitor compliance across bilateral and syndicated facilities.
• Independently calculate cash flow, leverage ratios, and covenant values per agreement terms.
• Perform detailed borrowing base calculations and reconciliations for secured lending.
• Validate collateral documentation, including AR aging, inventory listings, and ineligible summaries.
• Compare executed agreements to credit approvals to identify and report discrepancies.
• Partner with Risk, Credit, and Operations to resolve documentation and operational clarifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Credit Monitoring, Administration, or Loan Operations within commercial or investment banking.
• Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting credit agreements and syndicated loan structures.
• Strong knowledge of facility types including revolvers, term loans, LCs, and asset-based structures.
• Working knowledge of asset-based lending, real estate banking, and collateral valuation.
• High proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience configuring covenant and collateral monitoring in enterprise bank systems.
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and reconciliation models.
• Experience navigating syndicated agency workflows and bilateral lender operations.
• Ability to manage concurrent deadlines in a high-volume environment with consistent accuracy.
