Credit Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of credit tasks including new customer assessments, periodic reviews, and ad-hoc credit limit increase requests
• Analyze and approve new account applications and provide credit risk recommendations
• Categorize customers based on risk levels (High, Medium, and Low)
• Prepare and report business unit-specific credit reports
• Reinstate or suspend accounts based on company credit policies and payment behavior
• Ensure compliance with applicable policies, SOX guidelines, and statutory regulations
• Support internal and external audits for assigned business units
• Update approved credit limits in the ERP system by liaising with the CMD team

Requirements

• Strong understanding of company financials, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements
• Proven experience in Credit Risk Analysis and financial statement assessment
• Proficiency in using ERP systems
• Deep knowledge of and adherence to Global Credit Policies and standard payment terms
• Ability to manage high request volumes during monthly, quarterly, and annual closing periods within defined SLAs
• Experience with SOX compliance and documentation requirements
