Credit Risk Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain credit risk monitoring frameworks to assess portfolio performance
• Establish key risk indicators, thresholds, and early warning signals for emerging credit risks
• Provide credible challenge to 1LOD model development, treasury, and credit strategy leaders
• Partner with Machine Learning, Product, and Risk teams to evaluate portfolio performance
• Prepare and present portfolio risk analyses and recommendations to senior leadership and governance committees
• Design and implement governance processes and reporting routines to support regulatory expectations
• Provide independent oversight of credit policies and underwriting performance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, or a related quantitative field
• 7+ years of experience in consumer credit risk management, portfolio analytics, or credit risk oversight
• Experience analyzing credit performance across the consumer lending lifecycle
• Proficiency with data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or R
• Experience communicating quantitative analyses to senior business leaders

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in consumer credit risk management across multiple asset categories
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts applied to consumer lending
• Experience developing credit risk monitoring frameworks or portfolio governance processes
• Knowledge of banking regulatory requirements and supervisory expectations
• Experience conducting portfolio stress testing or scenario analysis
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and build alignment
